For ‘Making~Do’ I made large paintings inspired by a 2005 Eastern European adventure. All pieces are painted in acrylic and spray paint on plywood panels. Essentially the paintings are of people came across in my travels presented as buildings — creating a synthesis between people, their jobs , and the environment in which they live. The title makes reference to the idea of ‘making’ and  ‘doing’, and ‘getting-by’.
